I am playing a career mode with the Uno-X team. After three years, I still do not have enough points to get promoted to the World Tour. However, I do win serveral World Tour stages with a Wild Card.
I am trying to force a promotion for next season with the Lachi's Editor. I already tried serveral things, but it does not work. The only how I did it was by lowering al salaries of my current players, and signing some bigger names that I do not want in my team.
However, I have read some threads that you can also change the ranking of your team. This is something that I tried, but after one day simulation the ranking is back on normal (so based on the players in your squad).
Is there any way how I can do this, whithout signing all kinds op players I do not want in my team?
The easiest option is to wait until the season is finished in late October and then promote your team manually via Lachi's Editor. Which shouldn't be more than going to DYN_team and changing fkIDdivision. Make your team GS1 and relegate another team to GS2.

It is useless to edit rankings because promotion is not more based on UCI/Superprestige points but on team index (team strength).
Also, you may have to change sponsor (or edit the sponsor fame) to get better annual budget, allowing better riders joining your team.
Results are still important though to get good annual budget.
All you have to do is to sign riders with the most average values you can get.
I think it is the 5 best riders of your team are considered for the team index.
I don't think it'd cause a problem. However, to ensure tough competition at the WT level this new system is probably useful, you should see fewer top riders in the PCT - sometimes even the CT - than before.
