Interesting development in the peloton, as Vesuvio, eBuddy and Evonik are now trying to reduce the gap to the leaders. It has been at 3â€™30â€, but itâ€™s already at 2â€™30â€, but still 180 km to go.

Time for the fun to begin! The ten leaders start their ascent of the Puerto de la Quesera. A mountain of first category, 7.5 km at an average of almost 6%. There are no steep parts on the climb. The peloton starts their ascent of the mountain 2â€™45â€ later. When the riders reach the top, there are still 14 km downhill to the finish line.
