Stage freeze in last 20 km resolved

Like many others I always thought that lowering the graphics setting would keep the stage from freezing. I just found out that the stage freeze I sometimes have in the last 20 km had nothing to do with the graphics setting. I ran a whole season with the sound of and had no freezes at all. Even the loading of the race runs more smoothly without the in-game sound on.
