First, you must have a good time trialist in your team. Then you have to set the effort so the bars are running with the same speed. |

I mostly ride conservatively thru' the first two checks and then ramp it up for the final few k's.
My riders usually finish higher than they should according to their stats. |

Look at their heart rate as well. It should be in the high 160's or low 170's. Change their effort accordingly. It is better to start out with a lesser effort in the begining then increase rather than vice versa. |

And one other thing - make sure you don't run out of energy until the last few meters.
If you're running on empty with 500m to go you'll lose a lot of time. |

Off the top of my head, the top one is distance to go, and the bottom one is how much energy you have. |

I guess the top one is energy and bottom one is distance to go
