Its a race that starts with some hills before flattening out. There are a few cobbled sections but how significant can they be?

The break:

Khayabkhyrvaa Uugunbayar with Tamouridis, Pugaci, Gourov, Laverde Jimenez and Ma.

The break leads for a while but the gap is coming down when, with 40km to go, Albert and Thomas try to ride away from everyone else

They cant get a big gap though and everything all comes back together with 24km to go. The British Airways duo have caught the break, but the peleton has caught all of them

They are countered by Breschel and Kopp but only Kopp gets a gap

Kopp would be caught though as Hammond hits the front in the final small cobbles section with 5km to go
