I’ve read some post on pcm15 I believe explaining rider behaviour vs the chosen strategy...like follow attack or attack... teammates vs free role.
I play without pausing as it is for me the most enjoyable way to play.
How do you handle the strategy interface and what are your comprehension about it?
I had my leader sit in the middle of the peloton while he should had been in the front. Some suggested that we need to remove is teammates to force him riding for himself.
The leader sitting too far back in the peloton sounds about right, that is my experience as well. I have played two careers on automatic so far, one with PCM 17 and one with PCM 20, maybe 10 seasons in all, and I was going to write a long post about how maddening it can be. But I would finish by saying that despite all the complaints I've actually been really successful. So give it some time. Sometimes the captain will be very alert and follow the right attacks and it feels wonderful.
Not having any team mates doesn't make him ride higher up in the group, in my experience. You can bet on him being last in the peloton when it's down to 40 riders at least half the time.
Ok thanks. I play on normal difficulty without pausing but I take control on some of the rider. I started a continental team from the ground to stretch the fun. When I do conti race and I ‘m on a stage that my leader as no interest, l’m focusing on the breakaway guys and set my leader on auto and he’s doing fine.
My recent problems is that I got invited for the Vuelta and I need to split my attention in different place of the race. Sometimes I ´m chasing mountain jersey, some stage victory while trying to stay in the peloton in case we catch breakaway on the final climb so I need to rely on auto strategy. May be I’m just out of my league in the Vuelta which explain the sitting back in the peloton?
