Downloading PCM in Steam - pylobby?

Hi,
When downloading PCM2020 in Steam it says you need a 3rd party account on “pylobby”. Can somebody tell me what this is for and why you need it?

From what I know it's for multiplayer purpose I believe. But I'm not 100% sure.

Okay. So you haven’t used it (pylobby) yet while just playing PCM career mode?
