Problem with fitness bar
deco200
Hey guys!

Can you please explain to me what this red bar on the right side of my fitness bar means? I thought it was tiredness, but I'm at the start of the season I raced for just 9 days, my training is set mainly on easy, because it's the start of the season and my pre-season training was set on low.

Does this red bar mean that I'm actually training too light right now to reach my peak or maybe it is something else?

Please look at the sceen provided and help me with this because I'm honestly baffled

The final part of the bar is locked until you reach higher fitness. It says so in the tooltip: "cannot push the gauge beyond 80".
You can only peak when being higher than 80-something fitness, and any fitness point gains once you reach the red are lost.

If I'm allowed to give you two bits of advice from lots of experience:

Start your season no lower than the "high" pre-season setting, and use a combination of hard training and breaks to maintain a fitness level of 90 and above for the entire season. You don't gain net fatigue from three weeks of hard training plus one break week, as long as the latter is uninterrupted by any races.

You're wasting valuable stat points with that season planning, as higher fitness will give you +1 and +2 on major stats, and you will reach your fitness peaks way after your goal races, if at all.

You're welcome! Good luck with your career(s).

Of course, everyone plays the game a bit different, and by all means you're encouraged to figure out the details on your own when you gain experience, as improving your gameplay over time is part of the fun of any game.

But I think this is some basic advice people should know about to ensure you don't get frustrated beyond reason.
