Any way of telling how many riders per team in each race?

Greetings all,
I'm trying to plan my debut season with FdJ, so trying to be scientific and have a long term view of who will be riding each race, so I can work out number of days racing for each rider, required prep races, training programmes etc. It will all go horibly wrong, obviously, but those who fail to plan......
Anyway - is there a set number of riders per team (9?) for each race, or does it vary by event? I can't see team size numbers shown against the races in the game, and the only mention in the manual is under 10.2 where it says there are minimum and maximum number of riders (which I guess answers part of my question).
Does anyone know what the 'normal' minimums and maximums are. I'm jumping up from PSP, which was a completely different beast!
Thanks in anticipation,
Anthony

Well the 3 Grand Tours (Giro, Tour and Vuelta) will have 9 Riders.
The ProTour events have 8 riders.
And the rest will vary.

However, most races, except the ones mentioned by SportingNonsense, has a limit saying 6 minimum, 8 maximum.

Thanks guys, that's very helpful.
I get the feeling that planning the first season and getting used to everything will take longer than actually playing through the races!

I wouldn't say that the amount of race days has any effect on your riders results. Some say 40, but you can't tire them out, like you could in previous versions of the game. So just use the the best riders for the most important races.
And remember that it isn't possible to race every race. I usually only race like 20-30 races beside the protour stuff
Former madden champ, and yes: I will, and would beat you any day

Thanks for the extra feedback. I'm not trying to do every race - but am going to go with the schedule that's been put in front of me (e.g. want try to cancel any or request additional entries) which will probably equate to the Protour + 20 - 30 that you mention.
