Okay, I know this may seem like a throwback to my old days, but bear with me, what OS do you run primarily. For instance, I run Mac OSX 10.4 (Tiger), but I have two computers, a old desktop (for PCM 05 and 07) and a labtop (for PCM 08) that run windows for the game. However, my main system is a Mac, so thats what I'd choose.
I'm conducting a poll for a school project, so I know it seems worthless but it would be nice for people to answer.
PLEASE USE YOUR MAIN OPERATING SYSTEM
Note: Just for the sake of saying this, I'm switching to Linux (Ubuntu) in a short time |

Ubuntu is cool, and probably my favorite of the Linux builds that I'm familiar with. I was using Debian on a second machine for years until I got sick of everything being so outdated. Damn apt-get!
But that said, my vote was cast for XP. |

Im not voting. It lacks three important things: Votes for people who Dual-Boot, Windows Vista Ultimate and a mention of BSD. Also i think we've already had a poll like this a few months ago

Yeah Waghlon already did one
EDIT: but i just read your first post, so this poll is justified!
since the results of Waghlon's poll aren't there anymore (maybe that poll was incompatible when the site changed)

acually, i've heard a rumor from a quite good source that windows will accept that vista was a flop, and they will release a huge update or a brand new system |

Yeah, i think most old polls were nuked. But i still cant vote as using both Ubuntu and Vista as my main systems. As well as NetBSD when i have to act server for something.

Window's 7, which is currently named after some Hungarian river that escapes me, is scheduled for release in 2011. |

I have heard that it should be using less RAM than both Vista and XP.
