Insanely slow database editing

I am wondering if it's my system that has issues or if both the Advanced Editor and Hannes Converter is supposed to lag like mad when editing both saved games and the database. Especially scrolling makes the editors redraw the list of riders very slowly, takes up to 10 seconds at times.

If it is my system, does anyone have any ideas what the issue could be? It's a brand new computer with 4gb ram, dual core 2.7ghz processor, geforce 9600gt 512mb gfx card etc. I haven't experienced any issues with other applications and PCM runs smoothly on max graphic details.

I greatly appreciate any assistance, thanks.

And my CPU goes up to 50% when scrolling.

I dont think Hannes various tools support dual-core.

Dacascos: It's probably a matter of some bad programming. I don't think there's anything you can do.

It should work fine even if it doesnt support dual corePfft 2007 version worked great for me on another dual core on my laptop. Just weird.

But everyone has these issues or what?
