Thomas Voeckler
- Back in business
My name is Voeckler, Thomas Voeckler. I’m riding for the French team; Bouygues Telecom. I have been riding for them since 2001, but then they were named Brioches la Boulangère and Bonjour.I became pro in 2001, when I was 21 years old. I was riding the two first year at the team, without any big success, but my team had faith in me. After two years I won my first stage. In the Tour of Luxembourg I won two stages, and I won overall. This was my first stage(s) I won as a pro. This year I also won a stage in the Tour de l’Avenir. But the biggest moment of my carrier came one year later in the Tour de France. In the Tour de France 2004 at the fifth stage, I was in a breakaway. The breakaway came in a long time before the peloton and after the stage I was standing at the podium in Mailot Jaune. I rode whit the jersey in 10 days, then I lost it to Lance Armstrong who won the Tour that year. That’s my best Tour, until now...
About me:
Name: Thomas Voeckler
Date of birth: 22. June 1979 (age 28)
Place of birth: Schiltigheim, France
Nationality: French
Nickname: petit blanc or le chouchou
What kind of rider am I?
I am a very aggressive rider who loves to go in breakaways. I try to go as often I can and I always try to go in the big races when I don’t have a chance overall. In the smaller races, when the big guy’s aren’t riding, i sometimes go for the overall. I like myself best in hilly terrain, where you can’t find the big mountains. In the big classics like the Ardennes classics I’m usualy riding as a helper for riders as Jérôme Pineau or Pierrick Fédrigo
A bit information:
Game: Pro Cycling Manager 2008
Database: PepsiLight UltimateReal Package v1.0.2.3
Patch (version): 1.0.2.3
Difficulty: Normal*
Team: Bouygues Telecom
Point of View:
I going to write from Thomas Voeckler’s view, but there will be post where I’m writing from a newspaper, who most likely will be L’Equipe.
Next part: Vive le Tour 2004 (Part 2.1)
*Maybe I will turn the difficulty up to hard, if it gets to easy.

Good luck, I always liked Voeckler after seeing him fight to keep yellow that day in the tour
