Croatian National Road Race Championship Cypriot National Road Race Championship
Croatia invited Cyprus and Israel for a joint championship. However, many Israeli riders withdrew resulting in Yechezkel being awarded the win by default. Cyprus did accept the invitation and flew its riders to Croatia.
Four from the six professional participants are Croatian. Frankovic is favorite in the sprint over Durasek, Kiserlovski and Mestric.
The Cypriot participants are Christodoulos and Mitliadis. Sprinting is not their speciality so it will be interesting to see who comes out on top.
Sixteen riders in Swisslion jersey but of two different nationalities, as Christodoulos and Mestric each brought seven of their biggest fans. The breakaway of local Croatians was caught well before the sprint preparations.
The six pros are at the front in the final kilometer. Mestric leading out Christodoulos despite not being in the same race technically. Frankovic waits for his moment behind the Swisslion duo.
Frankovic is a rocket once launched, Mestric cannot keep up. Miltiadis behind Christodoulos currently but still has 500 meters to pass him.

Mestric continues to block Christodoulos, resulting in Andreas Mitliadis winning the Cypriot Championship. Swisslion had two chances but takes none.

For Croatia the title looks set for Durasek. For Cyprus, it could go to either participant.
Starting with Cyprus, and the title goes to Michael Christodoulos, splitting the jersey with Miltiadis who finished 1'11 behind him. He would also take second overall.
Kristijan Durasek indeed takes the Croatian and the overall victory, beating Kiserlovski by 2'08. Mestric and Frankovic at 4'13 and 4'38 respectively.
