Hard riding from Aegon and Phillips mean we never really get a break established and with 20km to go a 65 rider group, including all the professionals has a 1’24 lead.
With 11km to go Kelderman attacks as the peloton approaches the top of the last climb before the finish.
Bol tries to bridge across to him but can’t get a gap so Kelderman will try and solo to the finish.
Aegon, Isostar and Delvaux aren't going to let that happen, so Kelderman relents and with 6.4km to go he is back in the group. There are 41 riders in the group with all the important professionals present.
As they turn up the final hill from left to right it is Boom with Oliver and Schreurs behind him. Then Van der Haar. Then Bol followed by Keizer. Then Sinkeldam, Kreder, Kelderman and Bovenhuis.
van der Hugenhaben and Slagter are behind Bovenhuis and Oomen is further back.
700 meters to go, left to right the leaders are Boom, Oliver , Bol, Sinkeldam and Kelderman. Kelderman has just accelerated, Schreurs is on his wheel.
Kelderman has a clear edge but Schreurs is coming fast along the barriers.
100m and Schreurs is in front.
Schreurs is going to wear the Dutch National Champions jersey next season.
Welcome to the National Time Trial of the Netherlands. 46 professional riders participate including 7 strong time trialists.

Van Zandbeek is the first of the strong TT riders to go and he sets the best time at the first check. Dekker goes through 20 seconds slower. While Boom has a poor time 39 seconds slower, only good for 4th at that check.
Meanwhile Van Zandbeek has set the best time at the second check and is the first rider to cross the finish in 1’05’35. Time will tell if that is a strong result.
Neither Dekker nor Boom come close to the best time at the 2nd check. Dekker finishes the course in 2nd, 44 seconds behind Van Zandbeek while Boom is 1’14 back in third.
The first of the big favorites, Ligthart goes through the first check 19 seconds off the pace. Defending champion Dumoulin can’t threaten the best time either. He is 28 seconds behind, in 4th place.
But the next man across, Van Winden, finally beats Van Zandbeek time at the first check. He leads by 18 seconds.
Next man across is Keizer, the last man on the road. He passes 4 seconds slower than Van Winden.
At the second check Ligthart and Dumoulin have both lost more time on Van Zandbeek, neither of them will win today.
But the next man across, Van Winden, expands his lead to 35 seconds. Keizer can’t cut into Van Winden's lead and is 7 seconds behind at the second check.
Van Winden completes a powerful ride by passing Dumoulin in the last kilometers.
His lead is 1’32 over Van Zandbeek who still holds second. It is good enough to make the Spar rider the TT champion, as Keizer drops another 5 seconds in the last section, only good enough for 2nd.
