Last time I played PCM seriously was PCM 2015. So to say the least a couple things changed I have a few questions hoping to find some answers.
1.: I started a new carrier and I have 5 captains Roglic, Dumoulin, Kruijswijk, Groenewegen and Martin. Yes you guessed it right I started with Jumbo Visma normally I love starting a team from scratch. Anyway I would rather have van Aert as captain in place of Martin. Is it possible to change? Or is it always the 5 riders with highest average?
2.: Dumoulin and George Bennet are losing morale because of lack of victories. We are just in march and for a rider like Dumoulin it is not unusual to go months without a victory. Especially for Bennet a victory is more a rarity than a common thing. Is this something to worry about? Both contracts are ending and it would suck if I can't keep them because he has not won a race yet.
3.: I am not yet sure what to think of the rider program/training/form systems. What are you 2 cents, is it any good/better than the "old" way?
4.: I feel there are way to much races in general. Sometimes skipping a day means simulating 6 races. This can be very frustrating since it slows down the season by a lot of extra time. I really have no use for all these races. Is it possible to do something about it, or is it because of the PCM daily downloaded database?
Well guess that's it for now at least hope you can help me out a little bit!
1. It might be changeable if you use an editor to change rider roles, but I'd just work around it, you can set an individual schedule for Van Aert (click on other riders on the objectives page).
2. I don't think low morale will stop the riders from signing a new contract, it will give a -1 to the daily form. I complained about this myself, it happens too quickly.
3. Could be dabated for hours which system is best, it's a bit different, learning by doing.
