14 riders form the lead group with 2.5 km left. Oste-Macdonald places an attack.

Eriksson is ahead of Faglum Karlsson and Ludvigsson under the Red Kite. Ahlstrand is still here as well!
Ahlstrand leads! 500 meters to go. Faglum Karlsson has the middle line. Ludvigsson is also here.
Ludvigsson is now ahead as Ahlstrand completely collapses.
But Faglum Karlsson's final kick is too strong for his teammate. He takes the win ahead of Ludvigsson. Lundberg finishes 3rd to prevent a Volvo podium sweep.

Bjelmark comes close at the first two time-checks, but falls of to be 3rd at the finish.
Arvidsson comes through the first time-check with the best time. He is well ahead by the second intermediate. He finishes with the new best time of 1h4'6".
Ludvigsson will try to make it a double for Volvo. He is however slower at the first check by 6 seconds. He drops a further 5 seconds in the second sector. He ends up losing more time in the final sector to be 2nd, 17 seconds off the pace,
