Mongolian National Road Race Championship


Five professionals and 187 amateurs participate in the Mongolian Championships. Of these five pros, four ride for BNZ and one rides for SPAR, on loan from BNZ.

A breakaway of five locals leads on the penultimate climb, one of them attacking. At 40 seconds we have the group of favorites led by the local BNZ branch.

Erdenesuren and Altanzul lead by 30 seconds turning on the final climb, Baterdene could not follow them. The next group has closed in to 25 seconds and can still hope for the title.

Erdenesuren tries to squeeze Altanzul off the road. Baterdene and Erdenebat start their sprint, only a local amateur and Delgerbayar are in the fray as well.

Perhaps Erdenesuren felt guilty for this move as he stops sprinting altogether and allows pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2019/Micros/bnz.png Maani Altanzul to defend his title! Erdenesuren just holds off Erdenebat for third with Baterdene beating Delgerbayar for fourth.
