Cool Choice, altough in general i think portugese cycling stinks of doping, Especially La MSS or Maia Milaneze. I guess you also have Nozal and Gil in your team and they where heavily involved in Operacion Puerto. Anyway i guess your biggest season goal will be the Voelta Portugal.
Good Luck!!!!!!!!! |

LIBERTY SEGUROS GETS SPONSOR!
Liberty Seguros and it's staff are celebrating the sealing of a sponsor. The french company Mouyse has accepted our offer of sponsorsip and we have made a deal of 5,500€ a month for 24 months.
"We think the reason they said yes to us is because of their foreign market in Portugal. We made a lot of offers including to portuguese companies but non accepted. We think that is because of the recent bad press in cycling about doping and the old teams involvement with Dr. Fuentes and the Puerto case," said new team manager Patrick Hughes. He then Jokingly added: " Why was it only cyclists who got caught in there? Real Madrid, Barca, Real Betis and Valencia players were all there and since it came out in the open Valencia have been poor. And that tennis player Nadal, he's completely and utterly drugged up".
The man who runs Mouyse had only: " We thought it would be beneficial to work with Liberty Seguros," to say. |

GERRANS WINS AUSSIE CHAMPS
An early breakaway paid off for Simon Gerrans as he got up to 12 minutes away from the chasing group. He was nearly caught but still won by about 30 seconds. In an interview he said:" I can't believe I've just done this it's just amazing. I lost all my energy coming into the final lap and I thought I'd be caught. ut I managed to stay away and I cannot believe I'm the champion." |

Vansenvenant Wins Tour Down Under
Vansenvenant managed to steal yellow on the final stage in Adelaide. On the 1 hilly stage he broke away with Ruben Perez but Ruben pipped him to the line. On the final stage a perfect leadout brought Vansenvenant a third place and a time bonus making him beat Ruben Perez. |

Haha He's actually a good rider, he just has to work his ass off in the beginning of the races. |

WROLICH TAKES 1ST STAGE AND YELLOW
Today in the 1st stage of the Vuelta a Mallorca in a completely flat criterium around Palma, Peter Wrolich took the honours.
An early breakaway went:
But were caught very quickly.Another went:
They were caught. After that there were a lot of crashes, including one very nasty one during the sprint:
Ouch. How Wiggins stayed up I don't know. Del Nero also went down:
In the end Wrolich just pipped an oncoming Pagliarini to the line. Just.

Pereiro was the biggest rider to fall btw.
Cardoso was about 18th I think, I told him to get on Napolitano's wheel but he didn't which was annoying. |
