this is a really simple question. I could be patient and wait to see the results, but I'm not. What is the point of decline in race fitness?
For example, when does the total fitness points drop from 20 to 19, 18, 17, etc? It used to be 50 races, is it still that?
Also, does it do long term damage if I race a rider too much? With a REALLY bare schedule I still have to ride my riders an average of 52 races to field a full team at each. What do you guys recommend? |

I can answer my own question. Maybe somebody else will benefit from it.
@ 15 races you reach the ability to ride at 20 fitness.
@ 60 races your fitness begins to drop from 20
--> your max fitness drops 1 point every 2 races after 60
@ 70 races your max fitness is 14
...and so on
It should be entirely possible to race a good amount of races (including 3 GT's) and field a strong team at each without any rider exceeding 60 (with a squad of 30. less riders = less races).

This has to be one of the most annoying things about PCM. I just looked at the CSC homepage, where you can see alle the races that each rider has particpated in and their results (https://www.teamcsc-saxobank.com/person_profiles.asp), and even though there is around 1/3 left of the season riders like Chris Anker Sørensen has raced 78 days, Voigt 78 and Nicki Sørensen 76 to name a few. These riders will probably reach around 100 race days at the end of the seaon probably still being able to produce at the highest level. IMO Cyanide should increase the number of racedays before the maximum race fitness starts to drop to say 80. I know it is possible to edit this in an editor, but I regard this as cheating.
Anyway I just don't get why PCM who tries to make a realistic game and then set a boundary that's actually making it more unrealistic... |

I think that number of race-days should by influenced by riders stats, stamina maybe, so hope that cyanide boys will improve this with next game, or patch? i hope |

Don't call it cheating... call it "personal improvement of the game" |

To be fair Voigt and the Sorensens are essential domestiques that can win stages where as the Schleck and Sastre are expected to win the big races and so have to worry more about peaks. It would be hard to factor this into the game. |

That's a good point. I guess the best solution would also take into account "role" given during a race as well as the tactic selected. But that's probably on a wish list for '10. |
