Teams change in Pro Cyclist

Pro Cyclist game, gets to the 24th Oct and the team am riding for changes its name and maillot resulting in a non real team. Why does this happen and how can I change it?

Well, this is normal. To prevent it you'll need an editor, open your save game and adjust DYN_sponsor. I have played careers where I do this early and extend all contracts (edit gene_i_contract_end) to 2032 or further. Then no teams ever change their sponsors. You can do this just for your team, of course.

With some fiddling about you can get your old sponsor back, you'll need to edit DYN_team as well.

Alternatively, there's also the option to download PCM.daily's expansion pack which will give you realistic new sponsors. But use it only for a new game.
