pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2019/Micros/evo.png Liepins have taken the lead in the pack, reducing the gap to 4’08 as the pack starts the 2nd KoM climb

In the breakaway pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2019/Micros/akm.png Jacobsen attack from the distance, hard enough to win at Côte de Treffort in front of pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2019/Micros/aeg.png Boom and pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2019/Micros/fes.png Bongiorno

pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2019/Races/PT/Dauphine/S7/09.jpg

There was a split, pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2019/Micros/isa.png Affonso, pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2019/Micros/ssc.png David, pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2019/Micros/eav.png Jungels, pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2019/Micros/eav.png Kneisky, pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2019/Micros/ino.png Kulimbetov, pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2019/Micros/tti.png Malori, pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2019/Micros/isa.png Sepulveda, pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2019/Micros/t3a.png Vliegen pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2019/Micros/tti.png Zakarin lost about a minute over the KoM, but as the next part of the route is quite easy, they get back.

pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2019/Micros/mos.png Boros and pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2019/Micros/tti.png Zakarin was dropped near the intermediate sprint in Treffort-Cuisiat, a bit strange as the rout is quite easy at the point, anyway they decided to call it a day and fell back to the peloton.

Other than that, not much happen before we reach the next KoM, besides the fact that the pack have been quite fast, now at just 2’14.

pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2019/Races/PT/Dauphine/S7/10.jpg

pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2019/Micros/eav.png Kneisky, pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2019/Micros/tti.png Malori, pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2019/Micros/isa.png Affonso, pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2019/Micros/eav.png Jungels dropped, they lose 1’57” on the climb, clearly won’t get back
pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2019/Micros/ssc.png David lost 1’19”, pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2019/Micros/isa.png Sepulveda 1’14” they may or may not get back.

pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2019/Micros/ino.png Kulimbetov 48” he has a fair change.

pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2019/Micros/iso.png Pernsteiner attack about 1 km from the top, taking the KoM at Côte de Poizoux in front of pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2019/Micros/aeg.png Boom and pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2019/Micros/mos.png Prado

pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2019/Races/PT/Dauphine/S7/11.jpg

Just as the breakaway start the climb to Côte d’Arnans, the first of two cat.2 KoM climbs today, pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2019/Micros/ssc.png David was reeled in by the peloton. Whereas pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2019/Micros/isa.png Sepulveda have been able to reconnect with the leading riders.

There is now longer anyone between the 19 riders left in the breakaway and the 161 riders presently included in the pack. Distance 1’59”

pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2019/Micros/fpc.png Menten lead the pack.

pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2019/Races/PT/Dauphine/S7/12.jpg

pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2019/Micros/mos.png Prado attack the KoM from 1.1 km, but it is pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2019/Micros/gzl.png Kangert first to the line in front of pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2019/Micros/mos.png Prado, pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2019/Micros/eav.png Kirsch, pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2019/Micros/iso.png Pernsteiner and pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2019/Micros/fes.png Bongiorno.
