Stage 2 takes us from Mounana to Koulamoutou in a 162km journey. Today is also the day with the most climbing kilometers as we face three categorized climbs, with two category 2 ascents.

The good news is that the final is mostly flat which should give us a straightforward mass sprint, even if there are some undulating roads near the end

With so many KoM points on offer today, the interest in the BOTD is also higher. The first climb of the day helps settle the attacking frenzy and eventually four riders get clear:
