Sorry if this was already discussed somewhere else here. I tried searching old posts, but didn't see this. So...
It seems to me that the "interview" content is simply randomly generated in the Magazine page before a stage/race, with not enough thought to who is who or in what position. Specifically, I have seen:
* The lower left section actually interviewed one rider and asked who he thought his toughest rival would be in today's race, and he said... his same name (as i it were some other rider).
* In the right section, it commonly says stuff like "[rider name] might be able to extend his lead on the climber's jersey in this stage", even if [rider name] also happens to hold the GC leader's yellow jersey. It seems like there should be some logic added to the game that would at least only mention the highest-ranking jersey if a rider is holding multiple at the time.
Lastly, during the race, it seems like the leader's messages that pop up here and there are also mostly random without much clue of what's really going on. I've seen:
* a message from a leader saying "don't leave me out in the cold here", when I was right in front of them.
* three different messages in a row about chasing down a breakaway. In this case, there *was* a breakaway but... come on... one message would have been sufficient, and I had to keep clicking these off the screen.
I agree especially to the interview content. I feel like the leader's messages have become better of the time of the single-player mode, but there is still loads of room for improvement.
Sadly, as these things are not changeable in an editor, I guess we have to hope for improvements by the game developers, and career mode is not their preference sadly. The only thing you can do is spam the developers, and maybe play the beta of PCM20 and report this thing to them. I doubt it will help, but it's always worth a shot.
