I recently purchased PCM 19 and I'm in the process of editing rider attributes in the default db.
I was at first using the Fast Editor, which was working really well. Until one day I had it open while playing PUBG, which of course crashed. This prompted the Fast Editor to freeze and I had to shut it down via the task manager. Now it's frozen every time I try to open it and I cant use it. I've reinstalled it several times, still doesn't work.
Well, I thought, I'll just use another editor then. So I downloaded Lachis Editor, and tried to extract the "Officialrelease" db, that I was working on. It didn't open, instead I get an error message saying "cannot find column gene_b_host" and another saying "object reference not set to an instant of an object".
Well, I thought, being the resourceful person I am, I'll just use another editor then. So I downloaded the Excel Editor, and it's worked very well. Up until now.
I had just finished editing all the World Tour teams and wanted to check if they we're saved in the game as well. However, I've found out that it the db file hasn't been saved since the 30th of March - even though I've just saved it today using the 'Build CDB' button in the editor. I've tried rebooting, saving/building again, building a new one with a new name, but nothing happens. It's saved in the Excel Editor, I just can't get it to appear in game.
Does anyone have a clue as to what I could be doing wrong? Or how I can fix any of the other issues I'm having with these editors.
Btw I've also been wondering where it's best to save these cdb files, as I can see that it appears in two places. In documents/pcm 19/mod/default and in steamapps/common/pcm 19/database. What's up with that?
However, it seems that all the work I did since I started using the Excel Editor has not been saved, except for when I open that editor. Is there any way to save that or to somehow transfer it to Fast Editor?
