The CT rankings after March saw NENT creating kind of a gap to the rest with GCN and Euskaltel looking best of the rest. How did this go on in April?
No less than 9 races of which California and Ukraine being highest ranked as two teams tried in HC.
More points available normally in C1 which were Cyprus, Wallonie and Corsica.
Then C2HC for the main points in Vineyards, Betonexpress and Lincoln GP while Coppa Placci finishes this update as C2.
While Glanbia in California and Euskaltel in Ukraine scored double digits in HC, it surely won`t change the rankings too much. Same for the C1 races, where Netia, Bianchi and Eddi Stobart did well in Cyprus, small pointers only in Wallonie and decent for Tryg or Bianchi in Corsica.
Most points easily were scored in C2HC and in especially in the only stage race there. The Vineyard Tour was a huge success for Azteca but also Netia, Euskaltel and Adastra performed well here.
And as Azteca also scored well in the two C2HC classics, they will top the monthly rankings by far.
NENT did okay in those classics but as their points in Vineyards were rather small, they are surely under pressure for the full rankings.
Coppa Placci went for Bianchi, who have spent a lot of race days but regularly scored at least.

Full Rankings
NENT is under pressure after this month but remain in the lead. Their ~150 point advantage though dropped to under 40 as Euskaltel is slowly closing and the projections are even closer. There also GCN are up there despite dropping from 2nd to 5th but they haven`t spent a lot of race days lately.
Azteca the other way from 5th to 3rd and while their total looks good, their projections isn`t due to spending the most of the division alreadyand more than 20rd more than the least.
Netia in 4th remain on that spot and also have the race days on their side being the 4th team likely to fight for the division title.
Bianchi, CYBEX, Adastra, McCormick and OMV all with a bit of a gap but still decently placed then and not out of the promotion fight.
Eddie Stobart scored a bit better recently with more than 50% of their total this month but still remain last. Not far from Centovalli though.

Amateurs
Adriatic remains in the amateur lead despite not scoring anything. Same for La Vie Claire in 2nd.
Signal Iduna with some points in Coppa Placci is closing in though and also KazMunayGas as month best is almost over 100 points. Points in Coppa Placci and 53 even in Cyprus delivered nicely for them.
Fox with 35 in Cyprus as well showing their talent.
VIP Mobile still looking awful with that tiny 1P at the very last.
A lead change in the CT. Kwiatkwoski from 5th to 1st after decent scorings in Vineyards, and Cyprus and continueing his good season.
Holloway, Pinot, Nibali and Faiers all drop one spot but remin in the top area. None of them raced a lot lately though and mainly Nibali`s 29 points in Vineyards were added. Must be said though that he also raced Cyprus and Corsica. So clearly not used his race days the best in this period and not as strong as in the first 3 months.
Krieger up to 6th as best sprinter behind Holloway. Really showing up unknown skills and great consistency this season. Valls as well climbing up to 7th and Keough from 27th to 8th just like Cort Nielsen up to 9th while Moser remains in 10th.
This means Ratiy and Intxausti belong to the riders losing quite a bit this month while Eastman from 45th to 12th going the other direction.
Not our best month but a great race in the Tour dr Vineyards sees us close the gap at the top. We're definitely in for a good title race at the moment with 4 teams in there up the top.
We do really need to keep finding good results though!
The Vineyards is our only highlight this month. Had we participate in other races or made the right decisions, the team could've been in the top 6, but given the projected points tally, it could be a decent run.
Also, I'm rooting for the Adriatic Kontinentalna Selekcija in the Ameteur Division
Last for the month, not surprising given Holloway didn't ride and we are a little short on point scorers. Still projected not to finish last though, so consider that a success.
Vineyards saw us doing what we needed to do, but with my very strong CT lineup, go ahead and raise your hand if you thought Keough was going to be my top scorer so far...
