Welcome to a new series on my channel, #FREELANDA! At 30 years old, Mikel Landa is now in the prime years of his career. However, we can expect him to start declining within the next five years. After showing he is one of the strongest climbers in cycling over the last decade, his results tell us differently. The biggest stage race he has won in his career is the Vuelta a Burgos. Really like the rider choice. Some decent results already as well; two stage wins to make up for GC ambitions partially ruined by two atrocious time trials. Congrats on getting on the GC podium in P-N. |

Thank you mate, appreciate it! I couldn't believe how little Landa has actually won so far in his career, always seemed to be in a sticky situation. Really rooting for him irl now he's at Bahrain.

Thank you! Like I above, really hoping he can do well this year irl. The time-trial is always going to be a big hindrance. That means he's going to have to be in amazing form to take that time back in the mountains though. Targeting the TdF first season, I'm not expecting to win there though will give it a go. Season two I'll go for the Giro/Vuelta. |
