Stage 3

Stage Profile

pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2019/Races/C2HC/Eritrea/TOES3%200.jpg

The experts have been calling this the Queen Stage, and there is historical evidence to prove this too. Four short climbs need to be traversed by the pack on the route before they square up to the monster climb to the finish. The top climbers, with Pinot at the top of that list, are surely favourites today. The punchers will be hoping to keep things calm, and not lose too much time. Otherwise, even with the advantage they're likely to have on Stages 4 and 6, they'll be blown out of GC contention today.
