The riders are off as the race director waves the flag to start the race.
Immediately on the first cobbled section, Richardson attacks. Ngandamba, Minoungou, Ovsyannikov and Lewis are chasing him. Young is trying to close the gap on the second group.
More shakeup follows in the second section.
Young, Ngandamba, Minoungou and Ovsyannikov remain at the front. Kasperkiewicz, with Nielsen in support has got away from the pack, and is in the next group. They're riding with Richardson and Lewis. Archimandritis, Kumara and Corwin are in the next group.
The peloton are already down to 38 riders! All the pre-race favourites are still here.
The peloton would catch the early attackers with 15 km raced, and swell in size to 59 riders.
We're past the cobbled-hill circuit for the second time. Welten the lone attacker in this round. He has a gap of more than a minute.
Welten is caught with 155 km remaining.
We've done four circuits. The peloton is now 49 riders strong.
The next group of seven riders would catch the peloton after a couple of kilometers.
Batmunkh, Coronel and Kolev attack with 105 km remaining.
Van Wyk, De Tier and Van Poppel try to chase down the leading trio.
The two groups, barring Van Poppel, would join together.
92 km left. Batmunkh out ahead on his own now. Van Wyk and De Tier the nearest to him. Coronel, Abraha and Ovsyannikov further behind, and riding singly. Taubel, Malecki, Jakobsen and a couple others in the next group.
72 km. Only Batmunkh left in the break now. The chase group has 17 riders - Van Keirsbulck, Orue, Young, Langeveld, Jacobs, Archimandritis, Kumara, Taubel, Ruiz, Nepomnyachsniy, Palyi, Abraha, Van Wyk, De Tier, Gamper, Coronel.
The next group has Maes, Kasperkiewicz, Kluge, Ngandamba, Minoungou, Richardson, Lagab, Corwin, Jakobsen, Nielsen, Martins Sandoval, Vaquera, Welten and Honore.
Batmunkh is caught 4 km later. The front three groups would merge before the next cobbled section.
Van Keirsbulck and Ruiz get away. We've covered the first climb and cobbles for the eighth time.
E2 -> Kasperkiewicz, Young, Langeveld, Jacobs, Archimandritis, Taubel.
E3 -> Orue, Abraha
Peloton -> 21 riders, including all other favourites.
Van Keirsbulck drops Ruiz and he is caught by the next group.
The peloton go to further pieces after the next cobbled section.
45 km to go.

The second group did catch up briefly to Van Keirsbulck but were dropped again in the next cobbled section and are riding singly themselves now.
26 km remaining. Van Keirsbulck starts the climb and cobbles section for the penultimate time.
Young is the nearest to our leader, but is almost a minute and a half behind.

Kasperkiewicz catches and passes Young with 15 km to go. He currently trails Van Keirsbulck by 1'43".
Young and Jabcobs are now riding in the third group. There's been more reshuffling in the groups behind.
7 km to go for Van Keirsbulck as he starts the cobbled and hill section of the circuit for the final time. He leads by 1'39".
Young and Jacobs is still in the third group, nearly 3 minutes back. Maes, Kumara, Ngandamba and Richardson are next on the road.
Final kilometer for Van Keirsbulck. He has extended his lead over the pack since the last update.
Behind, Kumara and Ngandamba have caught Young and Jacobs, dropping Maes and Richardson.
Van Keirsbulck wins Geraardsbergen-Bosberg for the second time in three years.
Kasperkiewicz is 2nd.
Kumara finishes in an excellent 3rd, which makes it a great race for NENT.
Ngandamda is another surprise result, finishing 4th.
Jacobs makes it two in the Top 5 for GCN. Young is 6th.
Richardson is 7th, followed by Maes.
Taubel is 9th.
Archimandritis completes the Top 10.
Today's winner - Guillaume van Keirsbulck.
A grueling race comes to an end, with 97 riders finishing. Not the most predictable results either.
