Anyone have any idea what the shortlist function is good for? At the moment, it seems to be a way to put any given set of riders into a list that is easily accessible. But i don't understand how this is useful.
Also, PCM 2007 seems to have a new feature in the you can scout an individual pro rider for 2 weeks or 1 month. What information does this give?

I think that in shortlists it says when the rider(that is shortlisted) contract expires, if he has any other offers, if he signs a new contract with his present team. |

you can keep riders you like the look of in the shortlist, and can keep tabs on them, without searching for them each time, it's mostly to do with accessibility as you say.
i can answer the second as i don't have the game yet |

Yah, what the heck is going on with the British release, Addy? It seems to be quite delayed relative to the rest of the world. Still, the delay may work in your favor if Cyanide can integrate some fixes into the British version (although I doubt it). But you could always download! |

that's probably it. since a lot of things in the game seems "borrowed" from Sports Interactive games (think footaball manager and eastside hockey manager), this seems like it too.
as for scouting one guy, I'll get my brother to try it, since he seems unable to let go of the game...I'll edit this post later on whatever I find about it.

The scouting of a person gives you information about the riders potensial. The longer you scout the rider, the more correct information you will get...!
I think it is like that... |

i haven't got a clue why the British release is taking so long, i think it's the 6th July, which is way after everywhere else.
i can't download as i've already pre-ordered it off play for 17.99
i also doubt they will work some fixes into the British release but by the time it does come out, there should be at least a beta patch out, i think i heard it was next week
@Antharas, you said from scouting you get some stats, what kind of stats do you recieve that they don't already show |

Can you scout from all parts of the world?
Also is it a random generated thing, like if you scout from a country is it a made up rider?

yes, it's made up riders (since they're all youngsters), and the countries are the same as before.

pretty much every country, except they group some like Peru, Paraguay, Brasil, etc. are just South America
obviously not all countries, are on but a fair few are, and some countries, e.g, Italy, Spain, are split up into 10-ish areas to search |

Yes but what is that. now i have a 2/12 (i think) chance of getting a rider from there. Do you know how hard i will have to scout!

they're separate, as they always were. don't you have any of the previous games?
Belgium is even (as always) separated into Flanders and Wallonie
