During a career, I regularly meet the problem with rider's morals.
Somehow the morals of 7 or 8 riders get 'very unsatisfied' till 'depressic'..
How come and what to do?

Ride them in the places in your team that is said in their contract.

Usual reasons are bad results from those riders, not riding races as leaders, or another rider in your team ending in front of them in races.

which role do you recommend for:

protected rider (I usually let them ride 'free', and in smaller courses they are my headrider. In Dutch we call it a 'kopman', I don't know how to spell in EnglishPfft )

important-teammate (I let them work for my most important riders)

For the so-called important teammates i usually give them the role 'free'.

That causes a satisfaction according to the morale, even though I let them work like slaves for the captain(s) Pfft
