Archer GP Discussion
SportingNonsense
The 2nd leg of the British Isles Tour is the Archer International GP in Buckinghamshire. Dont be deceived by the flat rating, the hills are British therefore the hills are tough!

The Brits in the race:
Charly Wegelius, Geraint Thomas, Jonathan Bellis, Russel Downing, Dean Downing, Luke Rowe, Matt Rowe, Daniel Lloyd, Russel Hampton, Tom Diggle, Steven Burke and Kevin Barclay.
Dan Martin and Nicholas Roche from nearby Ireland will also ride.

They will face some tough competition from across the pond from the Slipstream team, who's one goal is victory for Juan Jose Haedo in preperation for the Tour de Georgia. The Argentine is currently ranked 2nd in the British Isles tour, behind the Bikeline 2-Day winner Heinrich Haussler whose NVidia team are not riding today.

Im really pleased that Roche managed to cling on to 2nd, a great performance for him. Im also happy that a Brit won, in Jonny Bellis.
