Season two of PCM.Daily's Private Football (soccer) league will commence in around 3 weeks. Until then we need to find more team managers and reorganize the league.

League structure
We are sticking with the league 1:1 concept. And for season 2, we intend to have at least 3 divisions with 6 teams in each. If the amount of managers grows beyond 18, we will look into the possibilities of doing a 1:3 league system. Having 6 teams gives us a 10 week schedule with 10 matchdays. This gives us a short enough season to attract more people.
League 1: Benfica Rules (name subject to change as Porto is kinda cool too)
This league will consist of the top 6 teams in Season 1's Benfica Rules. The other five will be relegated to League 2, possibly league 3 if they are inactive.

The Ospreys (SportingNonsense)
Der Premiership (Waghlon)
The Crüe (MattiasGT)
Blue Moon Army (Addy291)
England FC (Crommy) OR Team Kolbotn (Alesle)
League 2: Champions Fail Division (teehee, not the final name of course)
And that is failing five from Season 1.

This is the league where most of the newcomers will be put.

Relegation/Promotion:
No real agreement have been made yet.
Schedule:
7th of August: Season 1 ends
8th of August and forward: People join, league gets reorganized to fit new standards and other things might happen too.
Eventually in August: Season 2 begins.
The Cup:
Honestly im not sure how the Cup will work. If we have 18 teams, we need to go through seeding, and the games own rulebook says it seeds based on last seasons Cup, and we havent had one yet. But we plan to have a cup this season.
Rule changes:
Dirty Tricks to be inactivated. (Note: we need to discuss this)
On a final note: Season 1 discussion still goes in the original thread. This is for season 2 discussion. The season one thread will be closed once the season ends.

Explain what you mean by a 1:1 or 1:3 league please.
I think Dirty Tricks inactivated would be good, only Matt uses it currently anyway.
And won't there be some teams who could get a new manager instead of their current one?

1) 1:1 means that are 1 league and 1 level, and another league at another level. 1:3 means there is 1 league at Level 1, and 3 leagues at level 2
2) I cant remember all the dirty tricks, but mainly they are there so you can knock of some of the form from the other players and maybe injure them.
3) I dont think the new managers could get some of old teams. Because AFAIK, all the old managers are still active and not leaving.

I think if I inactivate the manager then a new manager can get that team. Not sure though.

Addy, that depends on if you finish Top 6. When Waghlon posted that it looked to be between Crommy and Alesle, but now any one of the 5 teams below the top 2 could miss out  (So youd better win your next game to make sure youre safe!)

Addy, in public leagues, its not uncommon to see a lot of people (at least over 50 per round) to bet. The betting will only work in the league if we all start betting.
