The management game enters Greece for the first time but Gatorade have not selected their Greek sprinter Anastopoulos. But he would not have done well on today's stage.

Stamsnijder and Gallego attacked first and although a few others also attacked, the duo remained infront. (The others to attack were Duran, Doi, De Greef, Ladino and Lasri). Stamsnijder showed that should the duo stay away, he would win.

The climb today is pretty steep, and in the peleton B&O and Ernst&Young are setting the tempo

Stamsnijder and Gallego stayed in front on the climb and the Benfica rider took the points

Although 7 riders had already passed over the top, there were still points on offer from the first three in the peleton. Siutsou, Cioni and Mazzanti went for them

There was no time to enjoy the sights of Greece for the leading duo as they continued to pull out an advantage

Stamsnijder took the 2nd KoM sprint (Although the hill was barely visible) and will wear the KoM jersey tomorrow. As the image shows, they are soon to be caught for Molteni's De Greef.

The break would not work today though, they were chase down by B&O and Ernst&Young

So it would come to a sprint but with the spirinters having been dropped - it was completelty unorganised.

Czech champ Martin Hacecky moved into the lead

He was based by another National champion, Bulgarian Danail Petrov with Austrian champion Markus Eibegger also up there.
