Aker as the clear favourite here with top sprinter Enger. There stimply is no other big sprinter on the startlist so that reigning champion Boasson Hagen already comes next in the list.
The main danger for Aker is a late attack by one of the flat beasts really.
After the typical amateur attacks, who couldn`t stay in front until the end, the sprint trains form. And surprisingly Aker is not supporting Enger despite having a strong team (of to be honest not the best leadouts).
Instead Equinor with Skaarseth and Waersted in front of Flotten with Volvo`s Halvorsen in Rothaus loan colours in the middle.
Then on the right Air France for Boasson Hagen. Only amateur support though with Eiking behind him.
Then Delvaux having two amateurs ahead of Breen and then top favourite Enger behind him as also Ringheim, Havaardsholm, Jensen and Tiller.
Equinor`s riders are all over the front but no organization really.
Halvorsen and Breen on the left. Boasson Hagen and Eiking in the middle and Enger now switching to the right with a bit more than 1km to go.
Waerseth in the front still with 500m to go.
Enger though being easily the fastest on the right, Flotten in the middle and Halvorsen on the left.
And despite a bad team work Enger takes the win. No late attack and so it was quite an easy win for him against weaker sprinters.
Flotten, who had the best team support in the end with 2nd ahead of Ringheim, Breen and Boasson Hagen. Young future great Halvorsen dropped to 7th behind Haavardsholm.
The timetrial sees Volvo`s Haugard as topfavourite with Vangstad being Aker`s main hope to take the double.
Grieg with good depth of Laengen, Korsaeth and Vassdall but will be hard to beat the others here.
Stenersen with an early upset beating Griegs early starters Laengen and Vassdal early on and remain a small gap until the end! Volvo looking good here.
Haugard remains strong for Volvo as he takes the top spot as one of the last starters. 15s early on.
Vangstad and Korsaeth with no chance against Haugard as they keep on losing with every kilometer. But they make it a nice race for 2nd having exactly the same time on every time check.
In the end Volvo takes the Norwegian ITT crown with Haugard defending the title.
Vangstad in 2nd just milli seconds ahead of Korsaeth.
