The Barbadians cross over to the mainland to race in Mexico. This increases the number of professionals in the race to six.

Which leaves four Mexicans, where pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2018/Micro/mg18_wcc.png De Luna and pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2018/Micro/mg18_mos.png Prado are the most likely contenders on this hilly course.

Prado and De Luna pass the amateurs who were leading up to the final hill. Four kilometer to go.
