Portuguese National Road Race Championship


Both Portuguese ProTour teams suffered relegation, and now will fight for their national title in the sprint.

And a bit of a weird sprint as the sprinters decide to discard their leadouts at two. Silvestre leads on the left side of the road, followed by Coutinho, pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2018/Micro/mg18_prp.png Borges and Avelino. Paulinho and Carvalho sprint themselves as well on the right.

One kilometer, a left turn and a right turn remaining. Silvestre, Coutinho and Avelino virtually side-by-side, Borges and Carvalho on the line behind.

Final starter pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2018/Micro/mg18_des.png Oliveira. A horrible first time, seventeen seconds down on Machado and six on Goncalves. Unlike Goncalves he does not gain back time on the stage, losing three more to Machado to finish third.
