A flat race in Brasil with a tiny startlist of 10 riders and 9 teams! This means only Porto Prio has the advantage of a second rider but both aim the TT more.

The sprinters are Santos as favourite with Manarelli and Andriato similar strong. MG CT legend Nardin with outside chances but he shouldn`t wait for the sprint really.

No chance for the amateurs and so the sprint trains form. Surprisingly Nardin did wait until now and even asked for some amateurs to bring him into position! Behind Andriato.
Next to them the Chiquita guys for Manarelli with Santos behind (Nazaret as climber still in between though).

Under the Flamme Rouge Chiquita has passed the Diesel riders and Manarelli in the perfect position.
Andriato still waiting behind Nardin while Santos is in the slipstream of Manarelli but with a gap.

What was expected to be a fight of three became a fight of two only.
Manarelli vs Santos in the end and they are next to each other.

But the photo finish shows that Santos has won. He had the faster pace in the end and takes the NC.

The TT is basically a decision that should be won by Porto Prio. Both their riders are the favourites with Nascimento being easily the best.
Chiarello/Affonso only other riders with chances to maybe shock them.

But let`s keep it short.
Already on the first check Nascimento had more than 30s advantage and didn`t lose towards the end.

In the end more than 2 min ahead of his team mate and Chiarello/Affonso closely behind Egidio then as the fight for 2nd-4th at least was close.
