Spanish National Road Race Championship


The Spaniards decide to race their NC on a cobbled route, which is pretty much perfect for pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2018/Micro/mg18_des.png Altur.

In the first parts of the race, Iberia took control and didn't even allow a breakaway. Ten becomes five, and five becomes three as Altur continues to set a fast pace. Only the Iberias of Domene and Insausti are able to follow so far, with Allonca and Lobato del Valle at a small gap behind.

Towards the end of the cobble section, Altur has enough of the wheel suckers and goes alone, on his way to victory. The four chasers are a minute behind with three kilometers to go.

Lobato del Valle the fastest sprinter in the group behind, beating Domene for second place.
