Yeah, Scouting is horrible now.
I miss the old scouting - you would send a scout to a region and he would file a report on a couple of riders every few weeks. You could change regions when you wanted.
Now, and maybe I didn't figure it out properly, but it asked me to pick a rider of a list of about 20 riders, to scout. I had 2 scouts so I picked a rider for each. I figure to scout them and then move on, but no, that was it. It never let me pick a different guy and I never got a report on them.
I fired the scouts after the first season and I just manually scout the young riders using their evolution chart. I have it pretty much down to a science and the guys I pick end up always being between a 5-7 POT, with one guy being an 8.
I really do miss the old scouting. It was a lot more fun, and you felt more accomplishment finding a gem.

A hundred likes, why do they change what works? I have an Irish based continental team and am having to scout some Kazak guy when there are two to three Irish riders winning U23 points
