Algerian National Road Race Championship


Five professionals versus 188 amateurs on a hilly course.

A split in the peloton at 15 to go but all pros are in front of it. Seventeen riders in total in this group.

Belmokhtar joins up with Lagab and together they ride to the top. A sprint to the finish line will decide the race.

Lagab at the start. He is sixteen seconds faster at checkpoint one and thirty-one at checkpoint two.

Same goes for Hamza. He posts the same time as Lagab, but is ranked second by the slimmest of margins. This will be a thrilling finish.
