Kazakh National Road Race Championship


No professional team from Kazakhstan but a lot of riders spread out over many teams. Only disadvantage is they don't have teammates to form a leadout.

The amateurs are caught seven kilometers from the line. Some amateurs help out the pros by being their train.

But it's a Festina amateur hired by pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2018/Micro/mg18_xfc.png Tleubayev who leads into the final kilometer. Except Tleubayev is not on his wheel, so this leadout is useless. Nepomnyachsniy is also further down the field than he might have wanted.

Final stretch. Rive, Lutsenko and pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2018/Micro/mg18_p4e.png Kochetkov are side-by-side. Tleubayev 50 meters behind, Nepomnyachsniy only in tenth position or so.
