Bulgarian National Road Race Championship


Five riders from Adastra, four from Podium Ambition and one from Netia. The startlist is completed by amateurs, who will have no chance on the climb today.

Quite early on the climb and the professionals already gap the amateurs. pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2018/Micro/mg18_t3a.png Ivanov, pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2018/Micro/mg18_ada.png Panayotov and pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2018/Micro/mg18_t3a.png Grashev look the strongest so far and would create a small gap, which was mitigated on the descent.

Back uphill, Panayotov attacks. Only one with an attempt to follow is pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2018/Micro/mg18_t3a.png Robov, who was in the second group initially.

Robov sees Panayotov riding away in the distance. First he could still see him, then he only saw his trailing motorcycle and finally he was completely out of view.

Robov crosses the line in second place at over six minutes! The other participants, both professional and amateur, either abandoned or didn't make the time limit.

Bulgarian National Time Trial Championship

Zaraliev the first of the three to set a time: 1h10'02.

Stoenchev beats it by nearly a minute. All the others are at least two minutes behind.

Mihaylov running at roughly the same pace as Zaraliev, but nine seconds slower in the end.
