Right, I've tried to look in all the menus. How the h*** do I remove that annoying slowmotion nonsense in the end of each 3D race? The one that automatically slows everything down for the top-20.
I find it SUPER frustrating and annoying and I want it GONE. |

I'd love to see that gone too. What's the point of it? |

I agree, it's annoying and there should be an option to turn it off, but there isn't.

I wouldn't mind it if it only occured for the winner and even then there should be an option to remove it.
But it doesn't make sense as it is. Riders, fans, teams and sponsors only care about the top 10. Who cares if someone finishes 11th, 20th or 50th? |

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD... PLEASE give an option to turn off that damn finish line slow motion. It completely kills the excitement of the game. I don't care if I am in first place or last place, the finish of every single race annoys me!
Has anyone at least figured out a hack to turn that off? I'd pay money for that right now. |

Here's what I do: I hit the + key on my num pad as quickly as possible. 100 times. 200 times. 300 times. No matter how long it takes. And usually I shout insults at the monitor, too. That helps. (Plus, if there are gaps at a mountaintop finish it does actually speed it up a tiny bit.)
Helps in other situations, too. Like when the rider you want in the early breakaway starts at the back of the peloton. First, hit the + key 20, 30 times (3 would be enough, but more is simply better). Then keep on clicking on the attack button, 50 times, 100 times. If the breakaway is 5+ minutes ahead by the time he reaches the front of the peloton, ctrl+shift-esc, restart, and shout at the loading screen. If he has a -5 form, ditto. Hitting the desk with your fist so it really hurts helps as well.

Can't you just fast forward x2/x4/x8? I used to do that in PCM11 when I didn't feel the need to watch the sprint in a slowmo. This way it didn't bother me at all. Haven't played PCM19 but I assume there are fast forward buttons there as well.

As funny as Ripley’s reply was (because I do all of those same irate antics when I’m pissed at the game), the 2x/4x/8x speed has no effect during that stupid super slow-mo. It does work for little gaps in the first part of the finishing group, but as soon as another rider approaches the line it drops back down to 1x with slow motion again. It seems to only stick with 8x for the stragglers coming in. Annoying as hell! |
