(Yes, I play PCM 14, it's as far as my PoS computer will allow...)

So as the title suggests, I have one.

Aside from hydrating the riders, do the water bottles have any effect, like when sprinting or climbing?

No shame in that, I still play PCM 14. I'd even go as far as saying that i prefer it to PCM 17, which I also have, for the smaller in-race UI alone.

No, I'm pretty sure there is nothing more to the water bottles. Don't wait too long to get them, it can take forever for the water carrier to make it back to his team mates.

I know that very well.

I always wondered about the bottles, and finally decided to ask.. Perhaps the other teams are on to me, and know I want all the glory.. Kinda like you with Team Sky. Pfft
