We're back in Canada for stage fifteen. It's the longest stage of the race, 235 kilometers from Cresno to Red Mountain Resort. A lot of climbing to be done today.

Moreno Hernandez, who had no mountain points today, takes sixteen on top of Crownest Highway, the first category one of the day. The closest challenger to leader pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2018/Micro/mg18_red.png Riesebeek, Mendes, only takes four and does not get any closer. The break climbed four minutes faster than the peloton.

They join, but are too tired to challenge on the next climb. Robov the winner with Jim in second place, he was also runner-up at the previous climb. The gap to the peloton has increased to ten minutes, Azteca not too worried about this group.

Moreno Hernandez back on top on the first ascent to Red Mountain Resort. The next KoM would also be won by the Colombian, moving him from nothing into the top ten. This is not the final kilometer yet, we'll go down and up again. The break has gone in pieces, with only Moreno Hernandez, Robov and Jim remaining at the front. Riesebeek finished fourth on the climb for a few points. The gap has also gone down, to six minutes now.

Eastman not looking very good, in only 10th position in the group at 2.5 kilometers to go. The peloton is led by pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2018/Micro/mg18_kul.png Pozzo for Valls, to catch the leaders but also to drop the American. The trio up front have about fifteen seconds, Anacona didn't make it.

Talansky and Yates also open up their sprint, Berhane is considerably slower than the two. Sepulveda is coming quite fast, but just too late for the stage victory.

Pozzo winning the sprint for fifth, reducing the gap to only twelve seconds. Eastman finished nineteenth, but in the same time as Valls. Hence he remains leader, but the first signs of weakness.
