For some reason I get the error that the mod checking has failed upon starting a career.
Installation steps
- Installing PCM through Steam.
- Installing the PCM Daily Lite Pack v2
- Upon installation, I get redirected to a non-existing page on Steam
- I then browse the workshops to locate 'Pro Cycling Manager 2018'
- Here I click 'database', then scroll down to 'PCMDaily Lite Pack v2 post TdF' by WCR Manndrop.
- I subscribe to that one.
- I see the workshop being downloaded to %steamlibrary%\workshop\content\704230

- I then go into the PCMDaily Backup folder and edit the ini-file so that the 'DownloadsFolder' has a valid pathname.
- I run the Updater.exe which gives me a list of updates and then downloads the new files. I also execute that one.
In PCM itself, I start a career. It asks me which DB I want, so I select the 'PCMDaily Lite Pack v2 post TdF'.
I see in the box on the right that it gives a green dot for Database and Races, red for all others. Then I click 'Create game'.

But I can get around that by just simply copying another tga file and renaming it. It's just a little odd that I get to see this error.

When I look in the files to check it out, I see that there are these files:
- t1_croatia_01_2015.cds
- t1_croatia_01_2015.zces
- t1_croatia_01_2018.cdx
I think it's clear that the 2016 one, mentioned as fallback, does not exist. I'm not sure how to solve this, so I figured my download was corrupted or something like that, but that doesn't seem to be the case. A redownload gave me the same files, without the 2016 ones.

Where the fallback failed, it now also tells me that the variant referred to in the 2018 file seems to be missing. Some even claim that there are no valid stages at all.
When I forcibly create that career, I get even more errors, like how there are wrong Primary Keys in the DYN_physician table, how there are not enough lastnames and firstnames for certain regions and that there are a couple of wrong keys in DYN_cyclist.
Does anyone have an idea why I get these errors? Is it a screw-up in the database or in the stage variant editing, or is the problem on my side where I mistakingly did something wrong during the installation? I have a feeling I am using an older incomplete DB rather than the one PCMDaily wants me to use.
I didn't mess with the databases at all so far, just did a clean install.
