Stage 5

Stage Profile

pcmdaily.com/images/mg/2018/Races/PT/TONE/TONE5%200.jpg

Yesterday's stage on the cobbles turned the table on its head once again as Bewley won the stage and became the new leader of the race. Howver, it is still close at the top, with the Top 6 separated by less than a minute and just over four and minutes separating the Top 15. The Time Trialists will come out to play today, and while none are quite in contention to lay a claim on the leader's jersey, they will want to make the best of their favoured terrain. In the GC race, Bew ley isn't the strongest against the clock, but he's no slouch either. However, there are better riders in the close enough to him to challenge for his jersey on today's stage. Will we see another lead change in this race?
