Patch 1.0.1.4 - The Epic Fail

Everytime I play a career at the same point at Stage 3 of Paris Nice the game crashes. Does anyone have the same problem and or have a solution. My question is why would Cyanide release a patch that created more bugs. if you havent downloaded the patch yet, dont download it, it is a trap.

I dont believe that 1.0.1.4 is a trap. Or that horrible. 1.0.1.2 was afterall the best thing since sliced bread!

i dont know, but i downloaded the realname db from pcmdaily. and worked really fine up to the 4'th stage in tdu. however the prepatched fucked up once in a while aswell so i guess no changes there. the new evaluation feature in riders program is awesome btw (if it works ) |

This patch has finished my game as I had to unistall it to remove the patch and I am not able to reinstall the game as it has left something on my laptop that is corrupted and I am unable to put the game back on my laptop I can install on my old computer but that is not good enough to run the game. How can they release something that does this to the game? |

Man, hearing things like this, im so happy i didnt install this piece of sh*t also called "patch". Original game (no patches)runs quite good at least for me ( no crashes in stage loading, gameplay borking bugs, etc ) so it seems Cyanide wanted to make their half amateur product back to their shitty standards like in 07... Anyway i was really eager to install it so im quite lucky i didnt. |

I just said that my game is working ...with some filles changed ....some stages that's includes that Paris-Nice stage

I haven't had any problems either, although I've been restricted to offline play because I can never find the time amongst all my uni work to sit about online much anymore. Sad story, I know. |

Played with C.A until TdF every stage from every race i had some problems but changed the stages with the good XML 2 paris-nice stages and some minor stages in total like 6 bad xml that's all

Those problems with stage and other crashes are totally random for some users (including me). I tried some user made changes which change points gathered durind stage (TdF and other major races), profile of the stage, etc and im geting crashes where other users dont and vice versa (i backed up everything so i changed it back and im ok now).
So i rather wont try my luck anymore and play unpatched game (which is 100% stable for me at least i lowered details and since had not a single 3d game crash even with that little mem leak which game still has) than having some random problems when applying patch that doesnt work for bunch of ppl here... I will try it maybe after few seasons but definately not now... or wait for nextone. |
