Womens World Cup 2019

It's a bit late but now that the dross is out and the decent teams are left it might be worth opening a thread on the Women's World Cup.

Didn't really pay too much attention during the group stages as half the teams are absolute rubbish. But I'll try to watch England during the knockout games. Watched a bit of France and Brazil too which was quite a good game.

Soooooooooo.......who else saw Cameroon's disgraceful performance yesterday?

Don't slam on the group stages, there were some excellent games. Especially the final round with qualification on the line! Go back and check out highlights for some of them, you'll be surprised.

And go watch Norway vs Australia Round of 16 match, one of the best world cup (male of female) games i've ever seen!

My prediction for the finals from the start was France/USA Vs. Netherlands

I still think France could pull an upset in this next round.

Shame to see Aussie out (and was disappointed in how the NZ campaign went) but agree with TMM - didn’t get to watch the whole thing (because the amazing MZ vs Windies cricket finished at the same time) but from what I did watch of their R16 was a great game!
