Hi. I have question. I had 12 superprestige points and 20 continental points. Now I have finished 3rd of 4 stages of 2.2 competition so no overall points are awarded yet. From the start of the tour, I'm first in mountain standing, in first two stages I finished around 15th place. In third stage I finished 3rd, so I'm now 3rd overall, 1st in mountains, 1st in young rider standing. According to rules, there are only two superprestige per stage point categories. 1st and 2nd in stage (never was) and 1st and 2nd yellow jersey wearer (never was). Also according to rules, continental points are awarded only for 1-10th overall standing. Yet when I look at Standings, I have now total of 13 superprestige points and 21 continental points. Where did I get those???
Is this the mistake I once found in PCM 14 and it still hasn't been fixed? Ha, I just checked PCM 17, the mistake is still there: Most of the superprestige tables you see on the rules/scales screen in PCM 14/17 have the names mixed up. You can check by opening a save game with a PCM editor and selecting the table STA_bonus_superprestige.
The only correct table was the overall standings table, all the "minor points" tables have their names mixed up. So you should get points for a 3rd place on a stage - 20 for winning the stage, 10 for 2nd, 5 for 3rd, 3 for 4th and 1 for 5th. You have the table, but it has the wrong name, overall mountains standings. That's 12, 7, 5, 3, 1, same for overall sprint. 6 points per day for wearning the yellow jersey, 2 per day for wearing sprint/KOM jersey.
You are exactly right! For 2.2 races, there are 4 points for 1st place, 2 points for 2nd and 1 point for 3rd in superprestige and 7 points for 1st place, 4 points for 2nd place and 1 point for 3rd place in continental.
Seems to me a little crazy that this is present in the game for 4 years now. Also I find strange, that in the game there is no screen for continental/cwt points for stage finishes and leaders jersey when in database, there are this points obviously awarded
There's also another mistake which hasn't been fixed till PCM 17 (18?). You get more superprestige points (39) for finishing 9th in a 2.1 race than you get for finishing 7th (38) or 8th (33). And it's true, you will really get those 39 points, it should be 29. That is a mistake you can correct by using a PCM editor and going to the table I mentioned.
